The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that California Governor Gavin Newsom has doubts about proposed bill SB 276, which would restrict medical doctors from writing vaccine exemptions and require all medical exemptions for vaccines to be approved by the state Department of Public Health.

SB 276 recently passed the full Senate by a vote of 24 YES to 10 NO and the bill will now go to the California Assembly.

The Chronicle is reporting that Governor Newsom supports the doctor-patient relationship more than “bureaucratic relationships.”

“I like doctor-patient relationships. Bureaucratic relationships are more challenging for me,” Newsom told reporters at the California Democratic Party convention in San Francisco.

“I’m a parent. I don’t want someone that the governor appointed to make a decision for my family.”

The Chronicle reports that while the Governor did not explicitly say he would veto SB276, he cast “serious doubts on its prospects should it reach his desk.”

“With respect, as a father of four that goes through this on a consistent basis, that’s just something we need to pause and think about,” Newsom said.

“I believe in immunizations. However, I do legitimately have concerns about a bureaucrat making a decision that is very personal.” (Source.)

The author of bill SB 276 is medical-doctor-turned-politician Senator Richard Pan, who also authored a bill in 2015 (SB 277) that removed the religious exemptions to vaccines in California, which became the first State in the U.S. to remove religious and philosophical exemptions by parents to childhood vaccines.

Dr. Pan has strong ties to the medical industry, and apparently wants California to become the most restrictive state in the U.S. in denying almost any exemptions to vaccines.

Since the passage of SB 277 in California in 2015, the only way to opt out of childhood vaccines is to get a medical exemption from a licensed doctor.

California started going after doctors who write medical exemptions trying to restrict their freedom to practice medicine in a matter best suited for the individual needs of their patients.

The internationally well-known pediatrician Bob Sears, who himself is NOT anti-vaccine but does delay or forgo some vaccines dependent upon the medical needs of his patients, was the first doctor they attacked, threatening to revoke his medical license. See:

California medical doctor Ron Kennedy, who has been in medicine for almost 50 years, observed how many California medical doctors feared the loss of their medical license for writing vaccine medical exemptions, and filed a lawsuit against the California State Medical Board.

Dr. Kennedy allegedly states in his lawsuit that the California Medical Board goes from school to school demanding medical records of children, without any permission from the parents, in an effort to find medical doctors writing medical exemptions for vaccines. See:

The majority of the American public is clearly OPPOSED to mandatory vaccinations, even among those who choose vaccines for their own children.

Public opposition to restrict vaccine exemptions in California has faced stiff public opposition, with many doctors, attorneys, and others descending upon the State Capitol in Sacramento to oppose these bills.

And yet, SB 277 still passed in 2015, and was signed into law by then Governor Jerry Brown.

Is Governor Newsom the only person in California now standing between the public and total medical tyranny when it comes to mandatory vaccines?

If you agree with Governor Newsom and would like him to veto SB 276 if it reaches his desk, let him know.

Leaving a lucrative career as a nephrologist (kidney doctor), Dr. Suzanne Humphries is now free to actually help cure people.

In this autobiography she explains why good doctors are constrained within the current corrupt medical system from practicing real, ethical medicine.

One of the sane voices when it comes to examining the science behind modern-day vaccines, no pro-vaccine extremist doctors have ever dared to debate her in public.
