Pediatricians who hold the most extreme views on vaccines (ALL people should be vaccinated with ALL vaccines ALL the time by force if necessary) are starting to publicly call for children who are not vaccinated with all recommended vaccines to be removed from their parents by reporting the parents to Child Protective Services.

Similar to what happened in 2015 when the media and pro-vaccine extremists used the California Disneyland measles outbreak as an excuse to attack parents with children not vaccinated as the cause, so the most recent call to punish parents who choose not to vaccinate is using a supposed outbreak of measles in Minnesota to justify such severe actions.

As we saw in 2015, the Disneyland measles outbreak was completely blown out of proportion by the mainstream media who did not accurately report on the facts. For example, many of those who contracted measles at Disneyland were already vaccinated against measles, and the “outbreak” (90 cases) was hardly significant, as similar outbreaks have occurred throughout the U.S. the past 30 years, and among a highly vaccinated population. See:

Dr. Michael Elice M.D. – Media Promoting Medical Harm to Our Children

What was also not reported in 2015 was that over the previous 10 years, there were no deaths related to measles, but over 100 deaths related to the measles vaccine. See:

ZERO U.S. Measles Deaths in 10 Years, but Over 100 Measles Vaccine Deaths Reported

So here in 2017 the media is using 79 cases of measles in Minnesota, where there have been no deaths, as an excuse to again blame parents who choose not to vaccinate their children with the MMR vaccine as a threat to society, and deserving of having their children removed from their home.

Never mind that a single measles vaccine is not available, and that the only choice parents have to vaccinate their children against the measles is to choose the three-combo vaccine MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), which has been linked to increases in autism (and no, that “theory” has not been debunked like the mainstream corporate media would like you to believe).

Also, the concept of “herd immunity” has been completely debunked with no science to back up such a theory:

Herd Immunity Theory Has Been Repeatedly Disproven

In Minnesota, it has been documented that many of the measles outbreaks have occurred among the Somali population, and that population has also seen a significant increase in autism since coming to the U.S. leading many parents to be skeptical of the MMR vaccines. See:

sb277-opposition

Citizens which included parents, lawyers, and doctors turned out in mass in California to oppose SB277 before it was passed.

What we saw in 2015 was a rash of proposed state bills to mandate vaccines, using the Disneyland measles “outbreak” as an excuse.

Most of those bills were defeated in local state legislatures, and that trend has continued to 2017. The public, overwhelmingly, does NOT want the state forcing parents to vaccinate their children.

The lone state that succeeded in removing the religious and philosophical exemption to vaccines was California, with the passing of SB277, which passed in spite of widespread public opposition.

With legislative efforts to force vaccines upon the public failing across the country, is the new strategy to have doctors start reporting parents who delay or refuse certain vaccines to local Child Protective Services (CPS) for “medical neglect”? This is actually already happening in some states.

That was the topic of a recent article appearing in Business Insider. Financial publications like this almost always take a strong pro-vaccine position that results in greater profits for vaccines. After the pro-vaccine press on the 2015 measles outbreak, for example, Merck’s sales on the MMR vaccine soared. See:

Merck’s Sales Soar on Measles Vaccine After Disney Outbreak

These corporate-sponsored media entities make several claims for vaccines that are not supported by science, and they completely ignore anything negative regarding vaccines, such as serious side effects.

So without legislation in most states to compel parents to vaccinate their children by force, the next line of forced compliance seems to be to threaten to take children away from parents who oppose vaccines:

The physician can educate or cajole the parents or refuse to take on the child’s care. But as frustration with “anti-vax” parenting grows, some pediatricians want to go one step further if all other attempts to induce compliance fail: calling child protective services to report the maltreatment of a child. Source.

This is a very effective strategy, unfortunately, for the pro-vaccine extremists, since CPS routinely takes children away from parents with little or no evidence, cashing in on billions of dollars of state funds available for children who become wards of the state. Doctors

Fortunately, not all pediatricians are vaccine extremists. They range from those who do not vaccinate at all, to those who selectively vaccinate, or delay vaccines and respect parental choice. See:

If you have questions about vaccines for your children, make sure you know where your doctor stands on this issue, or you could soon lose your children to CPS for even questioning vaccines.
