Paul’s second letter to his young disciple, Timothy, which is recorded in the New Testament portion of the Bible, was written while Paul was sitting in prison in the city of Rome.
Paul had been originally arrested in Jerusalem, due to the attacks of the Satanic Jews, who tried very hard to kill him. (This story is in written in the last chapters in the book of Acts.)
Paul used his Roman citizenship to appeal to Caesar, the king of the Roman Empire, to have his case moved out of Jerusalem and its jurisdiction in Caesarea where he was kept locked up, to the city of Rome.
Paul endured tremendous opposition and attacks by the Satanic Jews who opposed the Gospel message, which declares that Jesus Christ is the Jewish Messiah, and rightful King of Israel, and that the salvation of one’s soul was now available to every single person living on Planet Earth, regardless of group affiliations such as citizenship, ethnicity and race, gender, and any other way of classifying human beings into groups.
Paul’s life was an example of the principle that believing the Truth makes one an outcast in Satan’s world system, but publicly proclaiming that Truth to others, makes one a target of Satan, who will do everything he can to destroy and silence you.
This is what he wrote to Timothy (emphasis mine):
I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.
So do not be ashamed to testify about our Lord, or ashamed of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace.
This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.
That is why I am suffering these things.
Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day.
What you heard from me, keep as the pattern of sound teaching, with faith and love in Christ Jesus. Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us. (2 Timothy 1:5-14)
When Paul wrote this, Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple that was there, were about to be completely destroyed by the Romans. It was the end of one age, and the beginning of a new one.
For those of us who are the true believers, especially for those of us who have separated ourselves from the “Synagogues/Churches of Satan”, are we not going through the same things?
Are we not considered as “outcasts” because we do not support the Zionist Christians or the Pharisee Christians who so readily condemn us? And if we dare to speak out against them, especially in a public forum, do they not then turn around and attack us, seeking to silence our voices?
I know I am living through it right now, and I suspect many of you are also.
It is becoming clearer and clearer every day now how to recognize who the false believers and false prophets are.
First, they lie, and they continue to lie to build up their false claims of authority and self-righteousness built upon a faulty foundation that will not survive.
Secondly, they are not suffering as Paul did, and as most of us are, for proclaiming the True Gospel message.
Instead, they receive awards and accolades for achieving “success” in Satan’s world system. These are the Pastors and teachers one can turn on the radio to listen to on Christian radio stations, or watch on TV or the Internet in their Sunday services packed with other Christians who for the most part, are not suffering for the Gospel and telling the Truth, like true believers.
Most of them are able to achieve some type of “success” in Satan’s world, just by simply being “part of the club,” which can be the Catholic Church, the Mormon Church, the Protestant Churches, the Evangelical Churches, etc. As long as you pay your “tithe” and attend services regularly, you get to “benefit” from being a member of that group.
It can also be the home-school and home-church groups, who believe in “sheltering” their children from the world, and yet at the same time are benefiting from the world system and often receiving accolades as well, such as having your own TV show, or standing before a County Board of Supervisors and being recognized by organizations like the “Home School Legal Defense Association” for being such a great home-school dad.
If any of these Christian leaders were actually sitting in prison, as Paul and most of the early New Testament leaders were, they would be considered “bad Christians” today and not eligible for Satan’s World System Accolades.
For those of us who are the True believers, and suffering for the Gospel like Paul wrote about, it is time to also take his advice to “fan into flame the gift of God,” and “Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to us with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.”
For those of us who already operate in the power of the Holy Spirit, we know exactly what that means, and it is specific to each believer and their relationship to God, and no explanation from me is necessary.
