Interim Ottawa Police Chief Steve Bell has promised all week that the protesters in Ottawa would be removed, and that this weekend would not be like the past couple of weekends in Ottawa, and he followed through with his attempt to make that happen today on Friday, February 18th, as heavily armed police took to the streets of Ottawa and began arresting the protesters.
