Big Tech Failure! Amazon Shuts Down Checkout by Palm Scans Because Not Enough People Use It

Chalk up a victory for the American consumer market! As I have been encouraging Health Impact News readers for years now, if you want to fight back against Big Tech, just don't use or purchase their products! For years Big Tech was so rich in capital that it seemed that they could roll out any product or service they wanted to, whether it was popular in the consumer market or not. But the tide is changing now, as these Big Tech companies compete, and collaborate, with each other to invest $trillions in AI development for the future, and are finally beginning to run out of cash. It has been widely reported this week that Amazon.com is shutting down its biometric Palm Scan checkout system, which has been used in Whole Foods stores, major league sporting events and other entertainment venues, since 2020. Not enough consumers are using it to justify its cost anymore, and many groups have actually come out in recent times opposing it. This defeats Amazon's goals to put every customer into their "digital control grid", and they were defeated by YOU, the consumer, because you were unwilling to use and purchase their products. Congratulations American consumers! We're finally beginning to make the right choices with our time and money, and fighting back against Big Tech and their digital (and physical) prisons they are building. But the battle is just getting started, and it will take ALL OF US to resist this Beast system that controls the Global Financial system. Do not fear them. They are NOT invincible. The more we abandon "Right vs. Left" political and religious ideology and focus on the common threat to ALL OF US, the better chance we have to defeat Satan and his minions in the physical realm. Your neighbor who is on the opposite side of your religious and political preferences is NOT your enemy, and Jesus commanded us to love everyone as he does.

Amazon to Pay $5.8 Million for Spying on Customers Through Their Ring Cameras

Amazon agreed to pay a $5.8 million settlement after the Federal Trade Commission found it was illegally spying on customers and failed to stop hackers from taking control of users' Ring cameras. Employees, contractors, and hackers all illegally watched videos of Ring customers. The FTC found that one Ring employee had viewed thousands of videos of female customers in their bedrooms and bathrooms over several months. The employee in question was only stopped when another employee discovered what they had been doing.

No Vaccine No Food? Grocery Industry Merging with Big Tech and Big Pharma as New App Tracks Drug and Vaccine Purchases Along with Food

Big Food is making its move into the "digital health space" as grocery chain giant Albertsons announced the roll-out of its "Sincerely Health" platform along with a new app where customers "can connect data from wearables, integrate prescriptions, design their diet and make telehealth or vaccination appointments." Albertsons, which includes other mega grocery chains such as Safeway, Vons, Shaw’s, Jewel-Osco, Acme and Tom Thumb, among others, is currently in talks to merger with Kroger, another mega grocery chain, which would give them 36% control over the grocery supermarket business in the United States. Walmart, the largest grocery chain in the U.S., offers something similar, as they recently teamed up with Avanlee Care, which offers caregivers a similar platform integrated with Walmart shopping lists and pharmacy tools. Your grocery purchasing habits have been considered very valuable data for decades now, with most major supermarkets offering things like "loyalty" cards that give discounts on grocery products. But now, Big Food wants to merge that with your Big Pharma purchases as well, which would include prescription drug purchases as well as vaccines. It's not difficult then to see just how Big Food can now potentially use this data against you. These apps that combine your drug, vaccine, food, and doctor appointment purchases could easily be used in the future to prevent you from accessing these purchases if you do not comply with their requirements, such as being up-to-date on your vaccines. Those who receive government aid, such as food stamps, Section 8 housing, Medicare/Medicaid, etc., could all be tied into the information you provide on these apps. Don't do it! It is not worth the rebates or food coupon discounts you receive if you have to surrender your personal data to receive such "benefits."
