New California Vaccine Law Being Challenged in Court

California's controversial new vaccination law, SB277 which is scheduled to go into effect this month (July 2016), has been challenged in court. SB277 became the first law in the United States to remove the philosophical and religious exemption for childhood vaccines, thereby completely removing parental choice in any decisions about vaccinating their children as a requirement for attending school. Only two other states do not have philosophical or religious exemptions (and apparently never did), Mississippi and West Virginia. Consumer Advocate Tim Bolen of the BolenReport reported on the new lawsuit filed in California, where parents and non-profit organizations are suing the State of California Department of Health, Department of Education, three school districts, and one County Public Health Department.

California Medical Doctor and State Senator Runs from Office to Avoid Vaccine Discussion

The controversial new film VAXXED opened recently in Sacramento, the state capitol of California. The film's producer, Del Bigtree, along with other members of the film, decided to stop by and try to talk to some of the California State legislators about the film, which is a documentary about the CDC whistleblower who admits that the CDC hid key data in a study that linked the MMR vaccine to autism. Last year, California became the first state in the U.S. to remove the religious and philosophical exemptions to childhood vaccines as a requirement for attending school. Senator and medical doctor Richard Pan was the sponsor of the bill, and has also received campaign funding from pharmaceutical companies according to public records. Del Bigtree stopped by Senator Pan's office to try and start a conversation regarding vaccine issues, since he was the sponsor of the bill that removed vaccine exemptions last year. As you can see in this video, he literally ran away from him in the capitol building avoiding any discussion on the topic.

California Bill Would Require State to Post Links to Vaccine Injury Reporting and Vaccine Injury Compensation

Last year California became the first state in the U.S. to remove the religious exemption for childhood vaccines, in spite of overwhelming opposition from parents, doctors, and other community leaders. Now, California Assemblyman Travis Allen has introduced legislation that would require the California Health and Human Services Agency to provide information to the public regarding the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System and the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, two federally funded resources most of the American public knows nothing about. How could any lawmaker oppose this freedom of information? If the State is going to mandate vaccines to school children, should not federal information on vaccine injuries be available to the public? In 2014 the Government Accounting Office (GAO) issued a report on the federal Vaccine Compensation Program criticizing the government for not making the public aware that this program exists. If AB 2832 passes in California, it will become one of the first states to rectify the problems documented by the GAO.

Judge Orders California Student Information Released to Nonprofit – Privacy Standards Violated

The Identity Theft Resource Center and Privacy Rights Clearing House want to alert all parents of school-aged children throughout California about a pending deadline to Opt-Out on the potential release of their child’s sensitive personal identifying information. The deadline for parents and adult students to object to the disclosure of personal information and records is April 1, 2016.

California Parents Must Act By December 31, 2015 to Maintain Vaccine Exemptions

SB 277 - the bill eliminating all nonmedical exemptions for the 10 vaccines currently required before a child can attend public or private school, preschool or daycare - was signed by California Governor Brown on June 30, 2015 and goes into effect on July 1, 2016. However, what everyone in California who is planning on using a personal or religious belief exemption needs to know to take advantage of the grandfathering of these exemptions beyond July 1st and until the next grade span (preschool, kindergarten inclusive and including transitional kindergarten, or 7th grade), you MUST have an exemption on file at your school or day care by December 31, 2015! For those programs with a winter holiday, the deadline may be even sooner with offices closed.

California Officials Increase Mercury-laced Vaccines for Children and Pregnant Women

In California in 2004, AB 2943 was introduced by the California Assembly and passed, going into effect in 2006. Considered a precautionary measure, it prohibited injections to children under three and pregnant women with vaccines containing 0.5 micrograms of mercury per 0.5 milliliter of vaccine dose in multiple vaccine packages such as the MMR and DTaP three in one vaccines. The California Immunization Coalition (CIC), a quasi-public agency, sent a letter to the Secretary of the California Health and Human Services requesting the exemption be exercised for this flu season because there is a shortage of flu vaccines, especially the nasal mist vaccine Fluzone, manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur. Concerned California activists allegedly reached Sanofi by phone twice recently and were told there is no shortage of the Fluzone vaccine that complies completely with California's AB 2943. So why the rush to use flu vaccines with high levels of thimerosal?

California Vaccine Refusers to Get “Court Order” or “CPS Visit” Under SB277

California Senate Bill 277 (SB277) is setting a dangerous precedent by removing medical consent from California school children in 2016. In addition, the bill appears to be in violation of the Nuremberg Codes for informed medical consent. However, pressure is already being felt as school administrators and directors have chosen to ignore current law and force vaccine schedules on school children. The language of SB277 left enforcement and vaccine noncompliance up to the school’s governing authority for each district. Orange County’s Department of Education’s Legal Division interprets that a court order to vaccinate will be an option. Will all California school districts, by way of their legal counsels, be directed to file court orders against noncomplying parents of all school children in 2016? It is essential that all California parents that believe in medical freedom file a personal belief vaccine exemption before the January 1st deadline. This is the only method known at this stage to grandfather a waiver into your child’s 2016 school year.

California Online School Expells 7th-Grader Over Vaccine After Dad Leads SB277 Referendum Effort

Even though California's recently passed vaccine mandate, sponsored by sell-out politician Senator Richard Pan, doesn't go until effect until January 1, 2016, schools are already demanding that students be fully vaccinated or else be removed from the classroom permanently. The most disturbing part? It's happening in virtual online schools advertised as providing homeschooling where students complete all of their coursework at home. The only requirement is that they meet with their teacher in person four times a year through testing events, or voluntary school outings. The ultimatum was made when a Sacramento father received a disturbing phone call from his daughter's online school, California Virtual Academies, notifying him that, if his 7th grade daughter does not receive the Tdap (tetanus, pertussis and diphtheria) vaccine, she will be locked out of her online coursework indefinitely.

Adult Vaccine Mandate Targets Parents

SB792 mandates SEVEN vaccines - TDap, MMR and Flu - for ALL daycare and preschool workers, including head start, early childhood centers, private school nurseries, and after school programs - WITHOUT personal belief exemptions as a condition of employment. On September 4, 2015, bill author Senator Mendoza added a last minute amendment expanding this vaccine mandate to now include parents who volunteer at their children's daycare facilities including State licensed home based daycare. Pre-schools and even parent co-ops if monies are exchanged will not be exempt from SB792. This new mandate would also apply to head start, early childhood centers and private school nurseries, and after school programs. If you are a parent or grandparent who wants to volunteer your time, talents and skills to benefit your children and their classmates educational experience, you will have to roll up your sleeve or be denied access.
