The ‘epidemic law’ would have handed the Danish government the power to enact mandatory quarantine measures against anyone infected with a dangerous disease, but it was the part about vaccinations that caused the biggest uproar. “The Danish Health Authority would be able to define groups of people who must be vaccinated in order to contain and eliminate a dangerous disease,” reports the Local. “People who refuse the above can – in some situations – be coerced through physical detainment, with police allowed to assist.” However, after nine straight days of protests against the new law, it has now been scrapped.
The HPV vaccine controversy has been raging since the FDA approved Gardasil in 2006 in virtually every country utilizing this new medical intervention. Dr. Stig Gerdes wrote this open letter to Danish Health authorities, the medical community, and local journalists hoping to shed some light on the very real consequences many Danish families were forced to deal with post-HPV vaccine use. Dr. Gerdes wrote: "The vaccine should be stopped immediately! There are so many unanswered questions that should be answered before we continue to vaccinate. With each injection, there is a risk of incapacitating a previously young strong human." Unfortunately, HPV vaccine stakeholders are still trying to deny the facts Dr. Gerdes was courageous enough to put in writing.
The SaneVax team believes the narrow scope of the current investigation regarding the safety profile of HPV vaccines being conducted by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), will leave parents and medical professionals without answers to questions which may help them solve the mystery surrounding new medical conditions being reported not only in Denmark, but around the globe, after the administration of HPV vaccines. Has the EMA put POTS and CRPS under an investigative microscope in order to blur the overall picture regarding the safety profile of HPV vaccines? Have those in charge never heard the expression, “you can’t see the forest for the trees?” Norwegian journalist, Per Egil Hegge, puts the entire issue into focus when he stated: A scientific environment, no matter the subject, where it is not allowed to ask questions, has thrown its future on the scrap heap and nailed its own death sentence on the wall. Apparently, open discussions on the topic of HPV vaccines are tabu. This is simply not acceptable. If open honest scientific investigations are not forthcoming, young people around the world will continue to have their futures thrown on the proverbial scrap heap. If serious investigations are not conducted, it may well be the public’s trust in national health authorities that is thrown on the trash heap.
In March 2015, a Danish national television station (TV2) aired a documentary focusing on girls who suspected they had been injured by the HPV vaccine Gardasil. Immediately after the airing of the show, girls with similar experiences started coming out of the woodwork. Virtually all of the girls had the same story to tell. Dr. Jesper Mehlsen is now reporting that one in 500 girls – or 1,000 of the 500,000 vaccinated experience serious side effects.
TV2 Denmark has done something no mainstream media network in the United States will dare to do: look into the controversial HPV vaccine that many have claimed has ruined the lives of so many young women, and publish an investigative report. In December of 2013 Katie Couric did a show on the HPV Gardasil Vaccine where she dared to interview the mother of a young woman who died shortly after receiving the vaccine. Couric's program was hardly pro-vaccine, as she gave both sides of the controversy, with a huge emphasis on the pharmaceutical side claiming the vaccine was safe, but she was viciously attacked by the mainstream media anyway and forced to apologize for even asking questions about the possible risks of the HPV vaccine. With such censorship so obvious in the U.S. mainstream media, it is refreshing to see the Danish media make this documentary available with English subtitles for the rest of the world to watch. Families and doctors are interviewed, and the tough questions are not censored. Similar to the U.S., these vaccine damaged girls can find no help from their government since the vaccine injuries are vigorously denied by their government, leaving them and their parents feeling "betrayed."
